In the birth, marriage, and death register, church records and epitaphs of Lancaster, MA: Aaron Gary and Lucy Beard both of Lancaster entered their intentions of marriage October 29, 1772.

In the Western Massachusetts a History: John Huxley, son of John and Naomi (Gary) Huxley, was born in Suffield, Mass, April 30, 1739, and died in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.  He served in the French and Indian War in 1756.

In a Whitney decendents: 102. Moses Whitney (Moses, Richard, John), b. 1690; married Elizabeth --; married 2nd November 20, 1766, Sarah Gary.

In A Catalogue of the Names of the First Puritan Settlers of the Colony of Connecticut:  Nathaniel Gary - an early settler from Barnstable, had a large family, five daughters married in Enfield; Mahitabel m. Ebenezer Jones, 1719, Rachel m. Nicholas hall, 1721, Mary m. Thomas Whipple, 1722, Rebecca m. Samuel Gibbs, 1731, Abigail m. Gershom Sexton, 1736.

The Compendium of American Genealogy, Vol. l:  Edward Stanley Gary b. Alberton, Howard Co., MD., July 26, 1862. John Gary, from England 1712, with his brother James, and settled in New Hampshire;

The Lesters:  John Pierpont Morgan, financial aid to Judge E. H. Gary, and the U.S. Steel Co., was a descendant of both James (1) and Miles (1) Morgan, through his parents Junius and Juliet Morgan.

Early Connecticut Marriages:  John Gary and Hannah Jackson, May 13, 1731.
